email@mobile.com is patent pending software solution which allows users to access their emails on any ordinary GPRS enabled mobile phone, operating in any network. email@mobile has 2 editions -

Free version and corporate edition.

Under the free edition users can register for a new email Id at emailatmobile.com domain and can send, receive, reply, delete, compose new emails, view attachments an avail other features similar to a web mail program, from their basic mobile phones capable of internet browsing. Corporate edition has been designed for those organizations who would like to provide its employees with the facility of accessing their corporate/official emails on the mobile but do not want to invest in purchasing high end mobile phones, paying monthly subscription charges or giving their server access to a third party. email@mobile corporate edition is unique software which once installed on a company’s mail server or web-space provided for the website, allows the company users to access their corporate (POP3 and IMAP4) email boxes anytime, anywhere using any GPRS enabled mobile phone, operational in any network and without having to install any software on the handset. Just like one uses web mail program to access emails on web browser, users can now access their official emails via email@mobile software over a mobile browser.

Concept:

We recognized that access to email on move is becoming increasingly important for the people and existing solution available in the market are expensive, work on high end expensive mobile phones; involve monthly service fees to mobile operators and other attributes which had placed it out of the reach of ordinary mobile users. We wanted to bridge this gap and were motivated to rethink how to make technology really perform for mobile users, irrespective of the mobile service provider, the mobile phone which users are using and should be affordable. So, we came up with email@mobile which is built on the idea that users should neither have to rush to their computer nor buy an expensive mobile phone just for accessing their emails. The idea behind introducing free emailatmobile email IDs was that email can be more spontaneous, effective, and handy, if available on basic mobile phones and every GPRS enabled mobile phone user should be able to have it.

At present we have around 20 people exclusively involved in this venture and we are looking at expanding it further.

Aim:

Our aim is that every internet enabled mobile phone user should have a mobile ID. Our R&D team is consistently working on enhancing the features of email@mobile and we are looking at adding many other features (confidential) to this existing product in another few months time.
