With the MotoYuva series receiving a warm reception in the Indian market, Motorola Inc has decided to unveil the next edition of this series called the MotoYuva W270. The phone will cost approximately Rs 3,360.

Clearly targeted at the youth and music conscious segment, the W270 features an inbuilt MP3 player, dedicated MP3 and FM keys. Additional features for the musically conscious include integrated stereo FM radio with RDS support.

“Tell the world you’ve arrived without saying a word. The handy W270 serves up both great mobile phone basics and a fantastic music experience, in a clamshell handset that you can show off with pride,” the company said on its official web site.

MotoYuva W270 has got a 2GB expandable memory and a battery support that claims to give 550 minutes of talk time and 450 hours of standby time.


The addition of Hinglish predictive text software is sure to go down well with the target audience, while the CrystalTalk technology will help reduce ambient noise. The handset also boasts of T-Flash Card support up to 2 GB and has 256 MB microSD card.

Motorola said that the W270 is also equipped with 28 x 128 pixels 65,000 color display; GPRS class 10 support that enables fast Web browsing and games like Sudoku and Tetris.

The phone also offers support for multiple Indian languages including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu. Weighing just 94g, the MotoYuva W270 has a clamshell form factor that is sure to be a hit in the country.
